Hi, I'm Cate!

As for me and who I am, I love anything and everything to do with personal identity. I'm big on understanding (and developing compassion for) ourselves and one another. And I'm so glad you're here!
Basically, I find human beings fascinating, and I sort of see everyone I meet as a puzzle to be pieced together or a bit of a mystery to be solved (though I think we always keep growing, so the answers are ever changing!). I'm a Gallup-Certified CliftonStrengths Coach, a Certified MBTI Practitioner, and a Forensic Genetic Genealogist in training. Whether it be figuring out someone's personality type and strengths or untangling the mystery of someone's DNA results, I love to help shed light on unanswered questions.
My educational background is in Psychology (B.A.) and Leadership Development (M.A.). I also spent two years in a Counseling graduate program before shifting course a bit on my career path. Additionally, I also took a few courses in a Forensic Genetic Genealogy graduate certificate program, and I am forever fascinated by the ways in which we are all connected. Basically, I love better understanding people so that I can help them gain clarity around one of the greatest mysteries most of us will ever face -- who they are.
I'm married with one son, and I love to travel, play word games, and watch moody crime dramas (especially British ones!), as well as light-hearted romances (think Emily in Paris).

I don't know very much about astrology, but I do know that I'm a Gemini Sun, Capricorn Moon, Gemini Rising (and I hope that doesn't scare away anyone who knows more about astrology than I do!)

My ultimate dream (at the moment) is to be a writer/criminal profiler, so here's to working toward that dream with this blog!
